Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Slamframe collects when you use slamframe.com and the Slamframe studio, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, a securely hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself), and whether your email is confirmed.
• Your content. The prompts and chat messages you write, the images and logos you upload, text and voiceover edits, your projects and their version history, and the videos you export.
• Credits and purchases. Your credit balance and history, and for purchases the pack, amount, date and Stripe's payment reference. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type, and the pages and actions requested, recorded in standard server logs and used briefly to rate-limit sign-ups and logins.
• Emails you send us at [email protected].

Cookies

We use one essential cookie, sf_session, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, so there is nothing to opt out of.

How we use it

• To run the Service: generate, edit, store, render and share your videos, and keep your credit balance.
• To send account emails, such as confirming your address and resetting your password. We do not send marketing email.
• To process purchases and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To keep the Service secure, fix problems and understand overall usage.
• To meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers that help us run the Service, and only what each one needs:

• Anthropic, our AI provider. Your prompts, chat messages, project code and, when a request needs them, your uploaded images are sent to Anthropic's API to write and edit animations. When you mention a website, Anthropic fetches that page for us.
• Stripe, which processes payments.
• Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website and so handles traffic to it.
• Our hosting provider, which operates the server where the Service and its data are stored.

Video rendering, the voiceover voices and our email are run on our own server. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the Service, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Share links

If you create a share link for a video, anyone with that link can watch it. Share links are not listed publicly or indexed by search engines.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Deleted data is removed from our live systems promptly and from our backups, which are kept for 14 days, as they expire. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your projects in the studio at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict some processing and to complain to a data protection authority. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Security

Connections to the Service are encrypted, passwords are hashed with scrypt, and access to the server is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for Slamframe.

International transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

The Service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the studio.
