Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Slamframe (“Slamframe”, “we”, “us”) for your use of slamframe.com and the Slamframe studio (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Slamframe turns written prompts into animated motion-graphics videos. You describe a video, AI writes the animation, you can change it by chatting or by editing its text, and you can export it as an MP4 file, optionally with synthesized sound effects and an AI voiceover. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to create an account. You must be an adult, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy credits.
- Give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer accounts, and do not create accounts to collect extra free credits.
- Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Credits and payment
- The Service runs on credits. New accounts receive 30 free credits once their email address is confirmed. The cost of each action (a new video, an edit, an export, sound or voiceover) is shown in the studio before you spend credits.
- You can buy credit packs as one-time purchases. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically. Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe.
- Credits never expire while your account is open. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not a stored-value or gift product.
- If a generation or export fails on our side, the credits it used are returned to your balance automatically.
- Videos exported before you have bought any credits carry a small “Made with Slamframe” watermark. Buying any pack removes it from later exports.
- All purchases are final except as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Your content
“Your content” means the prompts and messages you write, the images and logos you upload, the text and voiceover scripts you edit, and the videos the Service creates for you. You keep whatever rights you have in your content. You give us a limited licence to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI providers that power it. If you create a share link, anyone with that link can watch that video until you remove it or your account is closed.
You confirm that you have the rights needed for everything you upload or ask the Service to use, including logos, trademarks, names and website content.
5. AI-generated output
- Animations, on-screen text and voiceover scripts are written by AI. They can contain mistakes, inaccurate statements or results you did not intend. Review every video before you publish or rely on it.
- When you mention a website, the Service reads that page to gather names, wording and facts. Check those details yourself.
- Similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, so we cannot promise your output is unique.
- You are responsible for how you use your videos, including making sure ads and claims in them are lawful and accurate.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- impersonate a person, company or brand, or make content designed to mislead people about who made it;
- create scams, phishing, fake reviews, or deceptive or fraudulent advertising;
- create content that harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hatred against people, or sexual content involving minors;
- upload malware, or try to break, overload, probe or get around the Service's security, limits or watermark;
- scrape the Service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing product.
We may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
7. Our rights
The Service itself, including its software, design, animation engine, brand and templates, belongs to Slamframe and its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them other than to use the Service as described here.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or has a payment reversed. When an account is closed, its unused credits are forfeited unless the law requires otherwise. Sections 4 to 11 continue to apply after your account ends.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that output will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Slamframe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims by others that arise from your content or from your breaking these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the studio before it takes effect. Using the Service after the change means you accept the new terms.
13. General
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these terms is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. Nothing in them limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
